To create the RC Prestige clarinet, the participation of the best Buffet Crampon craftsmen was necessary.
This model is carved from highly selected grenadilla wood so that it can combine exceptional acoustic and aesthetic qualities.
Once the wood selection has been completed, the grenadilla is carefully cleaned and is not repainted but remains in its natural color.
The upper part of the body is cylindrical while the lower part and that of the bell is conical to guarantee the instrument a more delicate tone with responsiveness.
There are ring nuts to wrap the tenons to avoid the formation of cracks.
The keys are instead molded in the maillechot alloy based on copper, zinc and nickel; after cold forging they are first covered with copper and finally plated with silver.
Thanks to this process, the mechanics are given elegance, precision and durability at the same time.
The pads of the pads are made of technological Gore-Tex which makes them moisture-proof.
The adjustable finger rest makes this instrument easy to hold by anyone.
The overall result is a clarinet with a high quality sound for professionals.
It is kept in a rigid black leather safety case with combination, original Buffet Crampon.
